So my SIM has been acting up since yesterday and I decided to drop by the Globe business center today to have it replaced. CSR checked out my SIM, found scratches and recommended replacement. After letting me choose the type of SIM I wanted, she suddenly remembered GLOBE WAS OUT OF SIMCARDS for postpaid(or at least in the Makati area so she claims) and that people have been looking for SIMS weeks now. I couldn't believe it. How can an inventory as vital to the business as SIMS be out of stock? Very very poor planning on the business side (attention BOSG or whoever handles inventory!). And its not even as if we were back to the glory days of telco where people were lining up to get a Globe plan. Nah.
me "So what am I supposed to do?"
CSR (blank smile)
me "Might as well have this terminated"
CSR "yes sir we can temporarily terminate it"
me "When will the SIMS arrive"
CSR "Maybe this week"
Because I couldnt think of where the nearest SMART business center was and immediately get a SMART SIM, I decided to get a Globe Prepaid SIM in the meantime. I hope the SIMS never arrive. Hello Smart. Globe 10-year postpaid sub here.
